Tightening Curtain Rods
Slide a tension rod through each pocket then insert it into your doorway.
Tightening curtain rods. Simply insert the rod into both ends of the holder and fit onto the 2 desirable opposite spots on the wall. Decide on the height of your pet barrier then sew a curtain panel that has a pocket on both the top and bottom edges. These are perfect for using a more affordable curtain rod 15 to go over my sliding glass door with blinds that came with smaller brackets. The rods with the longer brackets were upwards of 40 70 these adjustable ones make a cheaper option work.
Not so easy also does it if the walls on either side of the shower are. Depending on the shape and size of your shower curtain rail you should be able to adjust the rod either by extending or reducing 1 or both ends. Hold the rod in place with the curtain about an inch off the floor then twist the smaller rod counterclockwise to lengthen it. Give the rod a final twist through another quarter turn or more just to be sure.
If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Attach a tension rod to both sides of a curtain to create a pet barrier. Tension rods also called spring rods are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls.
